"Gopal Muraliya Wale, Nandlal Muraliya Wale" - Music Video

"Gopal Muraliya Wale, Nandlal Muraliya Wale" is a beautiful chant sung in the praise of Lord Krishna.

This chant is sung by Shri Vinod Aggarwal. Shri Vinod Aggarwal's devotion to Lord Krishna is great & all his devotional Bhajans & chants are devoted to Lord Krishna only. Jai Shri Radha Krishna.

Pain & Suffering

Pain, whether physical or mental is the most unwanted thing & is always avoided by any human being. But still it is a fact of our life that it is as much a part of our life as its joy in our life. In joy we feel so happy that we always forget why we are having this joy but when we are in pain, we certainly try to analyze why we are having pain. Say you are suffering from some physical illness & during that illness first of all you try to think why it is there & then you consult your doctor why it is there & ask your doctor to get rid of you of this pain.

But have you ever wondered, why this pain first of all occurs in our body? Pain in your body is just the "Effect" in "Cause & Effect" cycle of this nature. As Pain is the "Effect" then what is the "Cause" of this pain.

As per Bhagwat Gita, "Cause and Effect" of this material world are due to 3 qualities of Nature only & those are "Sattva, Rajas & Tamas". Due to these three qualities of Nature only our body is born. Due to individual being doing Karmas (Good & Bad), one enjoys Joy & also suffer Pain in this life. In effect Nature is of dual characteristics & "Good & Bad", "Joy & Pain" etc. are both due to dual characteristics of this nature. The living entity in material nature enjoys the three modes of nature & it is due to his association with that material nature only that he meets with good and evil consequences in his/her lifetime. Now here below are the Bhagwat Gita verses which details about the three modes of nature and how an individual gets involved with these three modes of nature & enjoys happiness & suffers pain. Basically it explains Cause and Effect in Nature.

In Bhagwat Gita Lord Sri Krishna says to Arjuna :

"Material nature consists of three modes—Goodness, Passion and Ignorance (Sattva, Rajas & Tamas). When an individual living entity comes in contact with nature, he becomes conditioned by these three modes." - (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Fourteen verse 5)

"The mode of Goodness, being purer than the other two, is illuminating, and it frees one from all sinful reactions. Those situated in that mode become conditioned by a sense of happiness and knowledge." - (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Fourteen verse 6)

"The mode of Passion is born of unlimited desires and longings, and because of this, the embodied living entity is bound to material fruit producing actions." - (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Fourteen verse 7)

"Know that the mode of Darkness, born of ignorance, is the delusion of all embodied living entities. The results of this mode are madness, indolence and sleep, which bind the conditioned soul." - (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Fourteen verse 8)

"The mode of Goodness conditions one to happiness; Passion conditions one to fruit producing action & pain; and Ignorance, covering one’s knowledge, binds one to madness." - (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Fourteen verse 9)

Now you have to see that in which of the above said modes of nature you are established. If you are doing good Karmas, helping others, living a pure life, having devotion to God, doing acts of sacrifice, charity etc. then you are living a Sattvic life & it frees one from all sinful reactions & gives a life of happiness.

If you live a passionate (Rajasic) life, addicted to sensuous pleasures of life then it shall give pain in life (physical & mental later on). Though sensuous pleasures look good at the time of it's enjoyment but ultimately it's consequence is pain only & it leads one to all painful reactions .
That happiness which is derived from contact of the senses with their objects and which appears like nectar at first but gives pain at the end is said to be of the nature of passion. - (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Eighteen verse 38)

If you lead a lazy life, enjoys happiness in sleep, indolence etc. & are egoistic, avoid doing your duty; then you are living in delusion. All this arises of the nature of ignorance & in this case you are leading a Tamasic life. Such a life gives pain only always & lead one to utter delusion before & after.

So its all, what type of life you live & what type of Karmas you do. Sattvic life shall lead you to happiness only while Rajasic life shall lead you to Pain & Suffering while Tamasic life shall lead you to utter delusion & shall ruin your life. Choice is yours, which type of life you want to live.

Are You a "Mental Filthy Pig"???

"Keechad" is a hindi word & the meaning of "Keechad" is mud, filthy water, dirt, dirty smelly black water etc. Where there is dirt, sticky smelly black water, you can find Pigs sitting comfortably in that "Keechad". Many a times they rather enjoy in that sticky, smelly water by playing in it. Just see, in that "Keechad", where you would not even like to stand for a minute due to all the filthy stuff & smell, pigs enjoy in such a place.

Have you ever wondered how people too many a times start living in all such dirty environment & do not get perturbed by it at all. Somehow they too get in a Habit of living in all such dirty & smelly areas. Why does this happen? It is because they too have accepted it to be like that & feel comfortable with that. As these people make themselves comfortable in such a filthy situation, it comes into their habit & slowly they feel fully comfortable in that situation. Now as it has come into their habit to live in all such dirty filthy areas, they do not want to change their condition also as they have accepted it happily now. Slowly they go on living like that only. Now there does not remain any difference between such people & "Filthy PIGS". They have in fact now become like "Filthy PIGS" only who love filth, dirt, mud etc. etc.

There was once such a person who always used to live in such a situation only; an area full of filth & dirty smell. He was so used to living in that area that he never felt any unease living in such surroundings. One day that man went through an area where there were many shops of Perfume (Scent, Itr, sweet smelling liquid, fragrance giving liquid). On smelling such sweet fragrances coming from that area, that man actually fainted. Same is the case with Filthy Pigs & they too feel uneasy, smelling sweet fragrances.

You know, once "God Vishnu" with his wife "Goddess Lakshmi" while traveling through the universe, came to our planet earth from heaven. On coming to earth, "Goddess Lakshmi" saw a dirty pig sitting in "Keechad" which was smelling badly & was full of filth. Seeing such a condition of the Pig, "Goddess Lakshmi" showed her concern about the living condition of the Pig to "God Vishnu". She asked the God to uplift the condition of the Pig. God knew that it was in the habit of this Pig to live in such a filthy condition & said to "Goddess Lakshmi" to stop thinking about this Pig. But she insisted God to uplift the Pig's condition & even suggested to God that they should take this Pig to heaven with them. At this "God Vishnu" asked the "Goddess Lakshmi" that she should talk to the Pig only & take his viewpoint in this case. So "Goddess Lakshmi" goes to the Pig & tells him that she is very perturbed with his such a condition & told him that she has decided to take him to the heaven.

On hearing this, Pig asked the "Goddess Lakshmi"; Shall there be "Keechad" (filth) in heaven???
"Goddess Lakshmi" was very perplexed at listening to this & stopped thinking of uplifting the condition of that Pig.

Same is the case with many of people, who have a similar condition within their mind. Such people too have "Keechad" (filth) filled inside their mind. They lack the internal purity & are possessed of hypocrisy, conceit, arrogance, jealousy & are very egoistic. Their mind is given to insatiable passion, lust & anger. They are given to the enjoyment of sensuous pleasures only. Such people strive to obtain by unlawful means hoards of money for the enjoyment of sensuous pleasures. Such people are self-important, unbending, filled with the intoxication of wealth & honor. These people are given over to egoism, violence, insolence, passion & anger.

Such malicious persons hate the God that dwells in the bodies of others, as well, as in their own body. In fact such people are "Filthy Pig" only in their mind & are happy to be like that. Above mentioned qualities of hypocrisy, conceit, arrogance, jealousy, passion, lust, anger etc. are the qualities of a "Mental Filthy Pig" person only. If you ask or teach them to change their mental position then they are as reluctant as a "Filthy Pig" to change their condition.

Now just introspect & see how many of you are a "Filthy Pig" in your mind. If you find any of the qualities of a "Mental Filthy Pig" inside yourself, then there is an urgent need to improve upon those qualities. Know that such bad qualities in mind take the shape of habit & are very difficult to remove. So make a resolve today that you shall remove all such bad qualities from your mind as you cannot go to heaven (mental peace) with all such bad qualities.

Love Yourself

Everybody in this world loves his/her near & dear one's. Whether it is your mother, father, wife, children, friend etc, your love automatically pours towards them. But have you ever loved YOURSELF? You may say that it is a strange question, but just think for a moment, have you ever loved yourself. May be you have never thought about it.

O.K. now tell me, have you ever thought, what are the things in your life that you love the most? As per me, it can earthier be the material things in your life, like your house, car, other household objects or your own Kith & kin. But I am sure, you have never thought of loving yourself ever. In fact all of your miseries are due to that only that you don't love yourself.

Now take the case of material things that you love. These material things may be giving you joy at present but just think, if these material things are not in your life due to one reason or the other, how much pain it shall give you. Same is the case with human relations. Till all these things & relations are with you, it may give you joy for the time being. But no material things or relations are forever & it's absence in your life shall just shatter your life as you are addicted to all these. Absence of all these shall give you lot of pain certainly. Yes, pain. Any love towards material things & relations is certainly going to give you pain someday or the other as all these things & relations have to come to an end some day or the other. Either these things & relations shall leave you someday or you shall leave these someday. It's only your illusion that these things shall give you joy forever.

Have you ever thought that you have come to this world alone & shall leave this world alone only. Whatever things you acquire or whatever relations you make on this world stage is only in between your birth & death. Some day, these things or relations shall leave you within this lifetime or ultimately you have to leave all these at death. Any infatuation to material things or relations is going to give you pain only, whenever, separation shall occur one day. All material things & human relations are imperfect & any imperfect thing cannot give PERFECT love or joy to you. Unless you find a perfect & permanent thing in life, you shall not be able to find perfect love in life.

Now what is that perfect thing or being, which is permanent & source of all love. It is YOUR OWN SELF only. Now if you you think yourself to be your body, you are again wrong as one day it shall perish. You are not your body but the immortal soul within this body. Unless you know yourself to be that immortal soul which is the source of all love & knowledge, you are living in illusion. But if you think yourself to be that soul which is the source of all love, power & knowledge, then you shall feel supremely confident. Now just introspect & see that your own self is worth loving & exploring. Just be alone for some time away from your material things & relations & think who you are. You shall certainly feel that there is someone inside you who is your true self. This self only gives you confidence to move on in life. If you do not love your own self, then certainly you are a weak minded person. So just LOVE YOURSELF as you can yourself only take charge of your life. Just think that you are that immortal soul which is all powerful & source of all love. Just start loving yourself & see whole world shall shower love on you.

Bhagwat Gita too teaches that "know yourself to be that immortal soul". Once you are able to do that then you shall feel your SELF to be part & parcel of that Universal Self (GOD) who is infinite love. Just like a drop of sugar juice, tastes the same as that of whole juice, so is the case with you. You are a spark of that Universal Soul, who is the source of infinite love. Once you are able to know that, your life too shall be full of love.

Power of 'Zero'

'Zero' or '0' or 'Sifr' or 'Cipher' or 'Shunya' is a mathematical number the meaning of which is nothing. If you have no money in your pocket, you can easily say in mathematical term that you have Zero money or no money or nothing in your pocket.

But in Indian philosophy concept of Zero pertains to "Emptiness". In Indian philosophy Formless Brahman (God in un-manifest aspect) is also called 'Nothing' or Void' or 'Zero' or 'Cipher' or 'Shunya'. As per "Bhagwat Gita" & "Vedas", God created this universe out of "Zero" or nothing. God in His nirgun, un-manifest aspect is called 'Shunya' or 'Zero'. As per Vedas "Before the universe came into being there was "Shunya" or nothing & out of nothing or un-manifest aspect of God, came everything."

When God did this creation out of Un-manifest, Shunya aspect of Himself, then this manifest infinite universe came into being. God in his manifest aspect is called 'Ananta' or Infinity. 'Ananta' & the Supreme Brahman are one & the same being & are infinitely powerful. This is bigger than anything that can be imagined & it is bigger than any finite number.

Now as all this infinite existence or creation has come out of 'Shunya' or 'Zero', that's why 'Zero' is considered as most powerful. Below matrix explains well the power of 'Zero'. Initially God was one & to multiply himself into many he created this universe out of 'Zero" that is why it only takes 'Zeroes' to be added to '1' to get it manifested in hundreds of thousands forms.

1
10
100
1000
10000
100000
1000000
10000000
100000000
1000000000
10000000000
100000000000
1000000000000

So it is 'Zero' that is most powerful as it is the source & cause of all infinite creation. In mysticism also meditation is done by closing the eyes & concentrating on the void inside ourselves. Void inside us is the most powerful medium, to whom we also call God. In fact God is Un-manifest only & is always there in the void of this infinite space around us. So let's pray by meditating on that 'Shunya' or 'Zero' inside ourselves, which is nothing but God himself.

"Radha Naam Mein Kitni Shakti Hai" - Music Video

"Radha Naam Mein Kitni Shakti Hai" is a beautiful bhajan sung in the praise of Goddess Radhika Rani. Sri Radhika Rani is the greatest devotee of Lord Shri Krishna.

It is said that Sri Radha is herself the "Devotional energy" of Lord Shri Krishna who is the Lord of the universe. Her name always comes before the name of Lord Krishna that is why God's one name is "Radha Krishna" also. Just take out only one "R" from "Radha Krishna" & it becomes just "half Krishna" & that is the power of the name "Radha".

"Shyama" is another name of Shri Radha.

"Meri bhav badha haro, Radha nagari soey,
Ja tan ki jhaien parat, Shyam Harit duti hoey."

Hey, Goddess Shri Radha, You take care of my life of all troubles, Who's body shadow is enough to make Lord Krishna happy.

This bhajan is sung by "Shri Baldev Krishan" who generally accompany Shri Vinod Aggarwal Ji. Shri Baldev Krishan Ji too have a great devotion towards Shri Radha Krishna.

Jai Shri Radhe Krishna. I love this Bhajan the most.

Managing Stress

Stress is a very common word in our fast day to day life. In one's life everyone suffers from stress at some point or the other. Stress can be due to workplace pressures, tensions in relationships etc. etc. Stress normally disturbs our physical and mental health. Due to stress a person fails to respond appropriately to emotional or physical threats to the organism.

Common stress symptoms include irritability, muscular tension, inability to concentrate and a variety of physical reactions, such as headaches and accelerated heart beat. Otherwise stress can also cause backache, insomnia, fatigue, hypertension, eating disorder etc.

Now as per one report Stress makes people more superstitious:

Believe it or not, stress makes people “more superstitious”.

A new study has revealed that stress makes people not only believe in rituals but also in conspiracy theories and as a result, they are more likely to “see” things that actually do not exist.

However, volunteers who were made to feel more secure about their lives were less likely to fall back on conspiracy and superstition, the study found— the results of which are published in the Science’ journal.

So it is very clear that STRESS can create havoc with your life. So it is imperative that we need to be cool & calm in life. Stress needs to be avoided in all cases in life. Now how can a person remain always cool and unruffled under all circumstances so that he/she never experiences any stress?

As per another article Be Calm like an Ocean :

The main reason why our mind remains disturbed is that we are not satisfied with our present state. If you have something, you are not happy with it. If you have your family, sons, daughters etc. then you may not have harmonious relations with them. If you have a particular amount of money with you, it seems less to you & you want more of it. Same is that, you have Greed for other things & don’t know how to enjoy the one’s you are already having.

To be peaceful at mind, the first & foremost thing is to be satisfied with what you have at present & try to make harmonious relations with the people all around you. Once you are able to do that then you shall find that you are better off & much peaceful.

So if we want to come out of stress then first of all we need to change our lifestyle. Other than following above advice, we need to learn some relaxation techniques such as meditation, doing deep breathing exercises, listening to soul soothing music etc. Having a long simple walk, doing some physical exercises, massaging the body can also help in reducing the stress.

Finally as per teachings of "Bhagwat Gita" we need to be happy with our present state of life & should not hanker after the material desires. We need to have faith in God & should do our own duty as while doing one's own duty only one can be happy.

Find your own Inner Strength

What is Inner Strength? Can we measure Inner Strength? Is Inner Strength a tangible substance? Is Inner Strength & Mental Strength one & the same thing?

Have you ever pondered over above questions? When we are in distress, depressed & sad; in all such times where from we find our inner strength so as to come out of all such negative symptoms? Is there any God on whom we can rely in all such times? If yes, then where God is & how He help us in all such troubled times?

Inner Strength is our Soul strength, Mental strength or Personal Strength which comes into action in our hard times to defeat all such negative symptoms of sadness, depression etc. in one's life. In hard times it helps in building our low esteem and loss of confidence. When we are passing through bad times, we have a feeling of self dejection & a feeling that we will not succeed in life. In all such times only, our Inner Strength comes into play.

Inner Strength is basically an exploration to find our original/authentic self. Now how we can peep into & explore our original inner self? Here is a great book "Bhagwat Gita" which is a reservoir of all such questions. "Bhagwat Gita" time & again tells us that we have a soul inside our human body & this soul has infinite potential. As this soul of ours is a spark of Infinite all powerful, all pervasive Universal Soul, so it's powers are also limit less. This soul present inside our human body, in fact gives strength to our mind to carry out all difficult tasks. Believing in oneself is nothing but believing in one's inner soul. All fountains of knowledge & strength come out of this inner soul only.

In Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Thirteen verse 18, God himself tells that He is situated in everyone’s heart & gives strength knowledge & guidance to every human being. So if we have faith in God, faith in our inner soul then we shall get all the power & Inner Strength to get out of all our adversities.

You really have to look inside yourself and find your own inner strength, and say, "I'm proud of what I am and who I am, and I'm just going to be myself."

Mariah Carey

How beautiful are the above words of "Mariah Carey" & how explicitly it tells us to look inside ourselves so that we can come in touch with our real self (soul) from where emerges all our Inner Strength. Be yourself & be proud of yourself, as your original self is part & parcel of the Universal Self (God) & with His grace you shall come out of all the adverse circumstances. So have devotion in God & it shall strengthen your mind to face all the challenges of Life.

Scientists say 'Faith in God can relieve pain'

God is a matter of faith & we all know that having faith in some supernatural, all powerful being called God helps all of us in matters of trouble. Even when our mind is agitated due to some reason or the other then a little prayer to God soothes our mind & helps us to come out of any trouble. Just listening to devotional music also soothes our mind. Not only that, devotees who have strong faith in God claim that due to their faith in God they have been rescued in life of all the miserable happenings. It is also confirmed in Bhagwat Gita by God himself that He protects his devotees always.

So now in our age when tension is so prevalent in one's life & mind is restless, let's pray a little in life daily so that we can have peaceful life.

Now even Scientists are saying that 'Faith in God can relieve pain'. So let's have deep faith in God & let's pray to Him regularly.

Here is another Blog post which tells us how to be Calm like an Ocean.
