राधे तेरे चरणों में

राधे तेरे चरणों में

Its a beautiful chant for Sri  Radha. It is a powerful Mantra. राधे तेरे चरणों में is Divine Music. Daily chanting or Listening to it gives peace of mind & Love of God.

Goddess Sri Radha Rani is most dear to Lord Krishna even more than His wives. It was because, Sri Radha was always full of devotion towards the Lord & never thought of anyone else besides Lord Sri Krishna. In pictures Sri Radha is almost always depicted alongside Sri Krishna.

Sri Radha Rani is considered as the greatest devotee of Lord Sri Krishna. It is said that Sri Radha, herself is the "Devotional energy" of Lord Sri Krishna who is the Lord of the universe. Her name always comes before the name of Lord Sri Krishna that is why God's one name is "Radha Krishna" also. Just take out only one "R" from "Radha Krishna" & it becomes just "aadha Krishna" i.e. "half Krishna" & that is the power of the name "Radha". As Sri Radha Rani is always in the thought of Lord Sri Krishna the Supreme God, so her state of "Spiritual Emotion" is called "Maha Bhaav or महाभाव" i.e. the highest state of Spiritual Emotion or Spiritual Ecstasy.

Radha’s Love for Krishna is Highest form of Bhakti

As per Srimad Bhagwat Gita, there are two types of Bhakti. First is Para Bhakti and other is Apara Bhakti & each one is directed towards a different aspect of God. Para Bhakti dwells on the un-manifested brahman that has nothing to do with any name and form. While Apara Bhakti, on the other hand, proceeds with the faith that the ultimate source of all things is a single Supreme Being which is there in all things and can, therefore, be adored as such. Apara Bhaktas (devotees those have Apara bhakti) therefore sail effortlessly through all the currents of life, gaining merit on the way through love and adoration of a manifestation of God, who responds by His Grace to their prayers. Para Bhakti is a difficult path and is opted only by small group of people. While most of people follow the, Apara Bhakti which is the easier path to salvation. It is in fact the starting point of Bhakti & on that account it is also called the premature stage of Bhakti.

Goddess Sri Radha Rani was not married to Lord Sri Krishna but still she was most dear to Him even more than His wives.

As per the Bhagwat Gita, devotion is the easiest method to develop "Bhaav" & get close to the God. God himself declares about the glory of devotion in Bhagwat Gita:

"ye tu dharmamritam idam
yathoktam paryupasate
sraddadhana mat-parama
bhaktas te ’tiva me priyah" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Twelve verse 20)

"Sri Krishna said to Arjuna: O Arjuna, Those who follow this imperishable path of devotional service and who completely engage themselves with faith, making Me the supreme goal, are very, very dear to Me."

"mayy eva mana adhatsva
mayi buddhim nivesaya
nivasisyasi mayy eva
ata urdhvam na samsayah" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Twelve verse 8)

"Sri Krishna said: O Arjuna, Just fix your mind upon Me and engage all your intelligence in Me. Thus you will live in Me always, without a doubt."

"man-mana bhava mad-bhakto
mad-yaji mam namaskuru
mam evaishyasi satyam te
pratijane priyo ’si me" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Eighteen verse 65)

"Sri Krishna says to Arjuna: Always think of Me, become My devotee, worship Me and offer your homage unto Me. Thus you will come to Me without fail. I promise you this because you are My very dear friend."

"sarva-dharman parityajya
mam ekam saranam vraja
aham tvam sarva-papebhyo
mokshayisyami ma suchah" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Eighteen verse 66)

"Sri Krishna says to Arjuna: Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reactions. Do not fear."

So let's have devotion in God. Let's remember God for some time in our daily life so that we too can generate some "Bhaav" or "Spiritual Emotion" towards the God. Once that is developed, we shall always find God near us & our life shall be filled with joy, love & ecstasy.

Radha Krishna Consciousness

Lord Krishna is the supreme God & Radha Rani is the devotional energy of Lord Krishna. Radha Rani is not different from Lord Krishna & both are one & the same being. That is the reason that both are also addressed as RadhaKrishna. Lord Krishna is eternal, all-knowing, omnipresent, all-powerful and all-attractive God. He is the seed-giving father of all living beings and is the sustaining energy of all the universe. He is the source of all incarnations of God. So whatever, we eat should first be offered to Lord Krishna with a prayer to Him. In this way Lord Krishna accepts the offering and blesses us. So let’s don’t live in a self-cantered way & let’s do all our acts for the pleasure of Lord Krishna. This is known as Bhakti-Yoga, the science of Devotional service.

As said above that Radha Rani is the devotional energy of Lord Krishna so we should pray her to get the devotion towards Lord Krishna. So let's have our emotions towards God & have Him in our life. Let's understand Him. If we are able to generate feelings or emotions towards the God then such "Spiritual Emotion" is called "Bhaav or भाव". When one is in a state of Spiritual Emotion, one’s sub-conscious mind merges with the God for the time being & experiences communion with God. Spiritual Emotion is a state experienced in the Path of Devotion (Bhaktiyoga). During the state of "Bhaav" or "Spiritual Emotion" there is an intense awareness about the existence of God while carrying out day-to-day life activities. Spiritual Emotion is also a state of experiencing God’s presence everywhere.

Gopis & Radha's love for Lord Krishna was so strong that in His absence their mind always yearned for Him. Below are described the "Bhaav" or "Spiritual Emotions" of one Gopi who is yearning to meet God - Lord Krishna :

"O Krishna! You are Lord of my life. You always remain so in my life. O Lord, don't keep me out of your mind. O Lord, pl. don't forget me."

"O Krishna! My heart is crying for you, pl. do come. My soul is crying for you, pl. do come. O God, there is burning desire in my heart to meet you, pl. do come. Now pangs of separation are unbearable. Now even if I die Krishna, but see, even after death, my desire to meet you shall not die, as all my such desires are indestructible like You only. It shall live on forever till You meet me."

Sri Radha Rani is the greatest devotee of Lord Shri Krishna. It is said that Sri Radha is herself the "Devotional energy" of Lord Shri Krishna who is the Lord of the universe. Her name always comes before the name of Lord Krishna that is why God's one name is "Radha Krishna" also. As Sri Radha Rani is always in the thought of Lord Shri Krishna the Supreme God, so her state of "Spiritual Emotion" is called "Maha Bhaav or महाभाव" i.e. the highest state of Spiritual Emotion or Spiritual Ecstasy.

As per the Bhagwat Gita, devotion is the easiest method to develop "Bhaav" & get close to the God. God himself declares about the glory of devotion in Bhagwat Gita:

So let's have devotion in God. Let's remember God for some time in our daily life so that we too can generate some "Bhaav" or "Spiritual Emotion" towards the God. Once that is developed, we shall always find God near us & our life shall be filled with joy, love & ecstasy.

Radha's Devotion to Lord Krishna

Sri Radharani is the Devotional energy of Lord Krishna. Sri Radha Rani is the greatest devotee of Lord Krishna. If any person wants to have devotion in Lord Krishna then that person should first be devoted to Sri Radharani Ji.

Sri Radha Ji & her divine immortal Love with Lord Sri Krishna is well recorded in Srimadbhagvatam & other Puranas. She had incarnated on earth during the time of Lord Krishna. Sri Radharani was a Gopi who was most near to Lord Krishna’s heart. Sri Radha's devotion and dedication towards Lord Sri Krishna was complete, that is the reason that she was most dear to Lord Sri Krishna. Goddess Shri Radha Rani took birth at a place called Barsana in Uttar Pradesh state in India. Goddess Sri Radha was the daughter of Vrishbhanu & her mother was Kirti.

Gopis & Radha's love for Lord Krishna

Though God is almighty, all powerful & everyone prays to Him but there is a cult of devotion in which a person falls in Love with the God & there is a burning desire in that person's mind to meet the God. Gopis of Vrindavan, including Radha were of that cult only who fell in Love with the God, Lord Krishna. Meerabai in recent times also considered Lord Krishna like that only. Here below described is the state of mind of a person (Gopi) who has fallen in love with God. This is the state of the highest devotion to God in which a person always yearns to meet the God.

Gopis & Radha's love for Lord Krishna is so strong that in His absence their mind always yearns for Him. In such pangs of separation one Gopi is thinking in her mind about Krishna & saying:

"O Lord, You are my life. I am sweet to You & so is my Lord sweet to me. O Krishna, You are the only one close to my heart. Whom else I need to seek for besides you. Whenever you come into my heart my heart rejoices. You are the Moon of the inner space of my heart. You are always on my mind.

O Krishna! You are Lord of my life. You always remain so in my life. O Lord, don't keep me out of your mind. O Lord, pl. don't forget me.

O Lord, dust of your feet is so pure that if I put it in my eyes, then my vision becomes divine & I
can see anything. I want only that your image remains always in my eyes as I do not want to see anyone else besides You.

O Lord, when shall you come to meet me? Hey Krishna, My heart is parching like a desert which is waiting for the drops of rain to come onto it. On the inner space of my heart You never came & burst like a cloud. So many years have gone by but you never came to fulfill my desire to meet you.

O Krishna! My heart is crying for you, pl. do come. My soul is crying for you, pl. do come. O God, there is burning desire in my heart to meet you, pl. do come. Now pangs of separation are unbearable. Now even if I die Krishna but even after death, my desire to meet you shall not die, as all my such desires are indestructible like You only. It shall live on forever till You meet me.

O Lord, I am yours & You are mine, then how come You are not coming to meet me!!! Pl. do come, pl. do come."

"man-mana bhava mad-bhakto
mad-yaji mam namaskuru
mam evaishyasi satyam te
pratijane priyo ’si me"
(Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Eighteen verse 65)

"Lord Sri Krishna said: O Arjuna, Always think of Me, become be My devotee, worship Me and offer your homage unto Me. Thus you will come to Me without fail. I promise you this because you are My devotee."

Basically God is our own Soul only & lives within our own heart. So when a person turns towards God, then he/she is actually turning towards his own self only. More & more one turns inward & becomes spiritual, he/she actually yearns for God more & more. He/She actually becomes like that "Gopi" only who always yearns to meet the God.

Love Of Radha Krishna

Today is “Radha Ashtmi”, the Birthday of Goddess Sri Radha ji. Here we shall know about Sri Radha Ji & her divine. immortal Love with Lord Sri Krishna.

Goddess Sri Radha was not married to Lord Sri Krishna but still she was most dear to Him even more than His wives.

As per the Bhagwat Gita, devotion is the easiest method to develop "Bhaav" & get close to the God. God himself declares about the glory of devotion in Bhagwat Gita:

"man-mana bhava mad-bhakto

"mayy eva mana adhatsva
mayi buddhim nivesaya

ata urdhvam na samsayah" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Twelve verse 8)

"Sri Krishna said: O Arjuna, Just fix your mind upon Me and engage all your intelligence in Me. Thus you will live in Me always, without a doubt."

So let's have devotion in God. Let's remember God for some time in our daily life so that we too can generate some "Bhaav" or "Spiritual Emotion" towards the God. Once that is developed, we shall always find God near us & our life shall be filled with joy, love & ecstasy.

Love Him Adore Him

We all love our near & dear one's, whether it is your mother, father, wife, children, friend etc, your heart automatically goes toward them. But do you love God even a fraction of what you love your dear ones? Though God is the perfect one & can give you perfect love but still our mind does not turn toward Him. It's only in our bad times that our mind turns toward the God & not in our good times. If we are able to love God in our good times then bad times shall not come in our lives.

Lord Krishna is also the Lord of Love. He is love infinite. If you shall love Him then He too shall shower His unconditional love upon you. "Gopis of Vrindavan" fell in deep love with Lord Krishna. Though Lord Krishna is almighty, all powerful God & everyone prays to Him but "Gopis of Vrindavan", including "Radha Rani" fell in deep Love with the God & in their case there was a burning desire in their mind to meet the God.

So let's also love the God like "Gopis of Vrindavan" loved Him. If you shall love God a little bit then He shall love you ten folds, as God is hungry of love & devotion only.

In "Bhagwat Gita" also Lord Krishna is saying to Arjuna:

"man-mana bhava mad-bhakto
mad-yaji mam namaskuru
mam evaishyasi satyam te
pratijane priyo ’si me" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Eighteen verse 65)

"Sri Krishna said: O Arjuna, "Be aware of me always, adore me, make every act an offering to me, and you shall come to me; this I (Krishna) promise, for you are dear to me."

"sarva-dharman parityajya
mam ekam saranam vraja
aham tvam sarva-papebhyo
mokshayisyami ma suchah" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Eighteen verse 66)

"Sri Krishna said: O Arjuna, "Abandon all supports and look to me for protection. I shall purify you from the sins of the past; you do not grieve."

Lord Krishna is assuring Arjuna in Bhagwat Gita that He shall always be with him i n all circumstances if he is always in devotion to Him. Same thing applies to every human being also. If a person remains devoted to Lord Krishna then Lord promises that He shall deliver that person of all the sins of the past & purify that person. By doing such loving service to the Lord, certainly that person shall be in the eyes of God always & God shall always protect that person.

So let's always be devoted to Lord Krishna. Let's sing His Glories, read literature regarding Him & also do loving service to humanity (charity etc.) in His name. If we are able to get devoted to God with one-pointed mind & constantly hear about His glories, remember Him and worship the Supreme Lord, then He too shall always protect His devotees. So Let's always "Love Krishna, Adore Krishna".

Jai Sri Krishna.

Bhaav (भाव or Spiritual Emotion)

In our routine day to day life, we express emotions toward our children, family members & friends very frequently. But for how many minutes in your daily life, any emotions arouse in your mind for the God? For how much time do we remember Him? Basically we all are worldly people & our emotions, our feelings are all related to our worldly life. For most of us, our worldly life, family life comes first & God comes later. Now, it would be little better if we give little more priority to God who has created us & is maintaining our life & this whole world. Let's have little emotion towards God also in our life. Let's understand Him. If we are able to generate little feeling or emotion towards the God then such "Spiritual Emotion" is called "Bhaav or भाव".

"Bhaav or भाव" is basically a Sanskrit word for "Feeling", "Emotion", "Mood" or "Devotional state of mind". English translation of "Bhaav" is "Spiritual Emotion". When such "Spiritual Emotion" is aroused in one's mind, it replaces the ego or ‘I'-ness in one’s life by the awareness of the existence of God.

Devotees of God generally live in the thought of God & live in a mood of ecstasy and self-surrender. Such devotees channel their emotional energies toward the God. Gopis of Vrindavan, including Radha Rani were of that devotional cult, who fell in Love with the God, Lord Krishna. Meerabai in recent times also considered Lord Krishna with such devotion only.

So let's have devotion in God. Let's remember God for some time in our daily life so that we too can generate some "Bhaav" or "Spiritual Emotion" towards the God. Once that is developed, we shall always find God near us & our life shall be filled with joy, love & ecstasy.

Sri Radha Rani - Sri Krishna's true devotee

Sri Radharani was a Gopi who was most near to Lord Krishna’s heart. Sri Radha's devotion and dedication towards Lord Sri Krishna was complete that is the reason that she was most dear to Lord Krishna. Radha was not married to Lord Krishna but still she was most dear to Him even more than His wives. It was because Radha was always full of devotion towards the Lord & never thought of anyone besides Lord Krishna.. In pictures Radha is almost always depicted alongside Krishna.

It is said that Sri Radha is herself the "Devotional energy" of Lord Shri Krishna who is the Lord of the universe. Her name always comes before the name of Lord Krishna that is why God's one name is "Radha Krishna" also. Just take out only one "R" from "Radha Krishna" & it becomes just "aadha Krishna" i.e. "half Krishna" & that is the power of the name "Radha".

"Shyama" is another name of Shri Radha.

"Meri bhav badha haro, Radha nagari soey,
Ja tan ki jhaien parat, Shyam Harit duti hoey."

Hey, Goddess Shri Radha, You take care of my life of all troubles, Who's body shadow is enough to make Lord Krishna happy.

Ocean of Love

We all need love in life. Love is the emotional requirement of our mind as much as food is for our body. If you have people who love you in life then your emotional state of mind always remain in an elated state, otherwise you feel depressed. Now problem is that humans are not 100% perfect & imperfections in human beings, many times hurt your mind & you feel emotionally shattered. You must have seen in life that you have hardly come across a person who understands you completely & have never hurt you in life. All this is simply because humans are not perfect & cannot give you perfect love. Sometimes or the other you feel hurt in your relations & feel depressed.

Now can you find someone who is perfect one & can give you perfect love? One who never hurts you & can give you infinite love.

Whenever you love somebody there is a burning desire to meet that person. Now if you really get someone who can give you infinite unconditional love then your craving to meet that person shall be very strong & your mind shall always yearn for & run after that person. Something similar happened in the case of "Gopis of Vrindavan" who fell in deep love with Lord Shri Krishna. Though Lord Krishna is almighty, all powerful God & everyone prays to Him but "Gopis of Vrindavan", including "Radha Rani" fell in deep Love with the God & in their case there was a burning desire in their mind to meet the God.

So God only is the perfect one who can give you infinite unconditional love. That's why He is called as "Ocean of Love". If you love Him a little bit then He shall love you ten folds, as God is hungry of love & devotion only. So Hey God:

"You are an Ocean of Love,

You are the Infinite Love,

My heart is burning for that Love,

Let me have one drop of this Ocean of Love,

You send us on this earth and separate us from Yourself,

But, one day we shall get back to You and leave this world,

O God! my restless mind is eagerly getting impatient in coming back to you,

You are an Ocean of Love.........I am thirsty for one drop (of Your Love),

You are an Ocean of Love.........I am thirsty for one drop (of Your Love)."

In "Bhagwat Gita" also Lord Krishna is saying to Arjuna:

"Be aware of me always,
adore me, make every
act an offering to me,
and you shall come to me;
this I (Krishna) promise,
for you are dear to me."
(Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Eighteen verse 65)

"Abandon all supports and
look to me for protection.
I shall purify you from the
sins of the past; do not grieve."

Moon Of My Heart

This article is dedicated to Lord of Supreme Love, Sri Krishna.

"Sweet Heart" is a word used for someone who is really very sweet & close to your heart. Any person who is so dear & so close to your heart is called "Sweet Heart". In poetry many times a lover is compared to the Moon. Of course, in the full dark night, Moon looks so beautiful & pleasing to the eyes that it has been compared to one's Sweet Heart, one's lover.

Pl. do come, pl. do come."
