Don’t Teach or Change ‘Egoistic Persons’

Once "Lord Vishnu" with his wife "Goddess Lakshmi" while traveling through the universe, came to our planet earth from the heaven. On coming to earth, "Goddess Lakshmi" saw a dirty pig sitting in "Mud (Keechad)" which was smelling badly & was full of filth. Seeing such a condition of the Pig, "Goddess Lakshmi" showed her concern about the living condition of the Pig to "Lord Vishnu". She asked the Lord to uplift the condition of the Pig.

Lord Vishnu knew that it was in the habit of the Pig to live in such a filthy condition & said to "Goddess Lakshmi" to stop thinking about this Pig. But she insisted Lord Vishnu to uplift the Pig's condition & even suggested to Lord Vishnu that they should take this Pig to heaven with them. At this "Lord Vishnu" asked the "Goddess Lakshmi" that she should talk to the Pig only & take his viewpoint in this case. So "Goddess Lakshmi" went to the Pig & told him that she was very much perturbed with his such condition & told him that she has decided to take him to the heaven.

On hearing this, Pig asked the "Goddess Lakshmi"; Shall there be "Mud (filth) in the heaven as he feels happy in that condition only???
"Goddess Lakshmi" was very much perplexed at listening this & stopped thinking of uplifting the condition of that Pig.

Similarly, once there was a man who always used to live in an area full of filth & dirty smell. He was so used to living in that area that he never felt any unease living in such surroundings. One day that man went through an area where there were many shops of Perfume (Scent, Itr, sweet smelling liquid, fragrance giving liquid). On smelling such sweet fragrances coming from that area, that man actually fainted.
Same is the case with many of the people, who have a similar condition within their mind. Such people too have filth filled inside their mind. They lack the internal purity & are possessed of hypocrisy, conceit, arrogance, jealousy & are very egoistic. Their mind is given to insatiable passion, lust & anger. They are given to the enjoyment of sensuous pleasures only. Such people strive to obtain by unlawful means hoards of money for the enjoyment of sensuous pleasures. Such people are self-important, unbending, filled with the intoxication of wealth & honor. These people are given over to egoism, violence, insolence, passion & anger.

"kamam asritya duspuram
dambha-mana-madanvitah
mohad grhitvasad-grahan
pravartante ’suci-vratah" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Sixteen verse 10)

"Sri Krishna said: O Arjuna, Taking shelter of insatiable lust and absorbed in the conceit of pride and false prestige, the demoniac, thus disillusioned , are always sworn to unclean work, attracted by the impermanent."

Such malicious persons hate the God that dwells in the bodies of others, as well, as in their own body. Above mentioned qualities of hypocrisy, conceit, arrogance, jealousy, passion, lust, anger etc. are the qualities of a "Mental Filthy" person only. If you ask or teach them to change their mental position then they are as reluctant as a "Filthy Pig" to change their condition.

"ahankaram balam darpam
kamam krodham cha samsritah
mam atma-para-dehesu
pradvisanto ’bhyasuyakah" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Sixteen verse 18)

"Sri Krishna said: O Arjuna, Bewildered by false ego, strength, pride, lust and anger, the bad natured people become envious of the Supreme Lord, who is situated in their own bodies and in the bodies of others, and blaspheme against the real religion."

We need to know that such bad qualities in mind take the shape of habit & are very difficult to remove. We should make a resolve to remove all such bad qualities like hypocrisy, conceit, arrogance, jealousy, anger etc. from our mind as we cannot go to heaven (mental peace) with all such bad qualities.

God is One

There are said to be 330,000,000 or 330 Million (33 Crore) Gods & Goddesses in Hinduism. To me the only explanation for such a huge numbers may be like that all the residents of some "Godly Planet" are called Gods or Goddesses. In other words 330 Million (33 Crore) is the population of that "Godly Planet" on which all these Godly people live. Anyway, on this our own earth, people follow different religions & have different faiths in regard to God. Different religions of the world depict God in different forms. In Hinduism God is depicted as Rama, Krishna, Shiva, Vishnu, Brahma, Durga, Kali, Lakshmi, Saraswati etc. while in some sects of Hinduism, God is depicted as formless God too. In Christianity God is depicted as Jesus Christ who is said to be the Son of God. Sikhism & Muslim sects mostly believe in a formless God. So different minded people of the world see the God in different forms or formless God too.

In reality "God is One" who but appears in different forms. All these Gods & Goddesses are manifestation of one Supreme God only. It can be understood very easily like this:

"There is a potter who makes different forms of Gods & Goddesses from clay of the ground. Clay is basically the same in all the forms but out of same clay different Gods & Goddesses appear to us. In the same way there is only One God but it appears in different forms. Similarly if you see that Gold for making different ornaments is same but with this gold various types, shapes of ornaments are made & are given different names. Similarly God is One but He is worshipped in different cultures, countries in different ways, forms & with different names. There are different paths in this world to reach that same One God."

In Bhagwat Gita Chapter Ten, Lord Krishna is himself saying that He is the source of all beings & gods. Not even that, as per Lord Krishna, all these universes & creations spring from but a spark of His splendor only. As per Him, He is seated in the hearts of all living entities. He Himself is Lord Vishnu, Lord Shiva & Lord Brahma. He Himself is Sun, Moon, Wind & Fire. He Himself is Rama God too. He Himself is Lord of wealth - Kubera. He Himself is Spiritual word Om. He Himself is river Ganges. Among women He Himself is manifested as Goddess of fortune (Lakshmi), Goddess of wisdom (Saraswati) & other Goddesses of fame, memory, intelligence, steadfastness and patience. As per Lord Krishna His opulence is limitless.

Hindus likewise believe in only one God. They glorify and praise His thousands of qualities. For example when God is love, He is symbolically represented by Lord Krishna, God as virtue is represented by lord Rama, God as power is represented by Lord Hanuman, God as wisdom is represented by Goddess Saraswati etc. etc. So these different aspects of Gods represent spirituality, purity, power etc. of the Ultimate One who is endless truth and bliss.

If there are many "Pots filled with water" & if these pots are put under the Sun then Reflection of the Sun can be seen in all these pots. It appears that individual Sun is appearing in each pot. Not only that, water of each pot gets heated equally when Sun is reflected in the water pots. Now just as the Sun may be reflected in numerous pots of water, so the same one God is reflected in everything. Similarly there is one True Universal Self or One God who is appearing in different forms.

Below are some verses from Bhagwat Gita which explain about the Oneness of Supreme God:

"yac chapi sarva-bhutanam
bijam tad aham arjuna
na tad asti vina yat syan
maya bhutam characharam" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Ten verse 39)
"Sri Krishna said: O Arjuna, I am the generating seed of all existences. There is no being—moving or nonmoving—that can exist without Me."
"aham atma gudakesha
sarva-bhutasaya-sthitah
aham adis cha madhyam cha
bhutanam anta eva cha" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Ten verse 20)

"Sri Krishna said: I am the Super Soul, O Arjuna, seated in the hearts of all living entities. I am the beginning, the middle and the end of all beings."

"yad yad vibhutimat sattvam
srimad urjitam eva va
tat tad evavagaccha tvam
mama tejo-’msa-sambhavam" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Ten verse 41)
"Sri Krishna said: Know that all opulent, beautiful and glorious creations spring from but a spark of My splendor."
So let's see one God in all different forms. Let people not fight on the basis of religion. There is only one God & He is called by different names by his lovers, devotees in affection. Sri Ram, Sri Krishn, Gobind, Waheguru, Allah, Jesus are all the same. So let's all have wisdom to respect each others faith & let's all realize that One God in all the different forms.

Jai Shri Krishna

Are You a "Mental Filthy Pig"???

"Keechad" is a hindi word & the meaning of "Keechad" is mud, filthy water, dirt, dirty smelly black water etc. Where there is dirt, sticky smelly black water, you can find Pigs sitting comfortably in that "Keechad". Many a times they rather enjoy in that sticky, smelly water by playing in it. Just see, in that "Keechad", where you would not even like to stand for a minute due to all the filthy stuff & smell, pigs enjoy in such a place.

Have you ever wondered how people too many a times start living in all such dirty environment & do not get perturbed by it at all. Somehow they too get in a Habit of living in all such dirty & smelly areas. Why does this happen? It is because they too have accepted it to be like that & feel comfortable with that. As these people make themselves comfortable in such a filthy situation, it comes into their habit & slowly they feel fully comfortable in that situation. Now as it has come into their habit to live in all such dirty filthy areas, they do not want to change their condition also as they have accepted it happily now. Slowly they go on living like that only. Now there does not remain any difference between such people & "Filthy PIGS". They have in fact now become like "Filthy PIGS" only who love filth, dirt, mud etc. etc.

There was once such a person who always used to live in such a situation only; an area full of filth & dirty smell. Same is the case with Filthy Pigs & they too feel uneasy, smelling sweet fragrances.

You know, once "God Vishnu" with his wife "Goddess Lakshmi" while traveling through the universe, came to our planet earth from heaven. On coming to earth, "Goddess Lakshmi" saw a dirty pig sitting in "Keechad" which was smelling badly & was full of filth. Seeing such a condition of the Pig, "Goddess Lakshmi" showed her concern about the living condition of the Pig to "God Vishnu". She asked the God to uplift the condition of the Pig. God knew that it was in the habit of this Pig to live in such a filthy condition & said to "Goddess Lakshmi" to stop thinking about this Pig. But she insisted God to uplift the Pig's condition & even suggested to God that they should take this Pig to heaven with them. At this "God Vishnu" asked the "Goddess Lakshmi" that she should talk to the Pig only & take his viewpoint in this case. So "Goddess Lakshmi" goes to the Pig & tells him that she is very perturbed with his such a condition & told him that she has decided to take him to the heaven.

On hearing this, Pig asked the "Goddess Lakshmi"; Shall there be "Keechad" (filth) in heaven???
"Goddess Lakshmi" was very perplexed at listening to this & stopped thinking of uplifting the condition of that Pig.

Same is the case with many of people, who have a similar condition within their mind. Such people too have "Keechad" (filth) filled inside their mind. Above mentioned qualities of hypocrisy, conceit, arrogance, jealousy, passion, lust, anger etc. are the qualities of a "Mental Filthy Pig" person only. If you ask or teach them to change their mental position then they are as reluctant as a "Filthy Pig" to change their condition.

Now just introspect & see how many of you are a "Filthy Pig" in your mind. If you find any of the qualities of a "Mental Filthy Pig" inside yourself, then there is an urgent need to improve upon those qualities. Know that such bad qualities in mind take the shape of habit & are very difficult to remove. So make a resolve today that you shall remove all such bad qualities from your mind as you cannot go to heaven (mental peace) with all such bad qualities.
