God is one,god is light.He does not come in cycle of birth/death whereas all the other souls do.
According to the promise made by god,that during the time of utter degeneration of human souls (Today's world scenario) , He definitely needs a human body to deliver Gita knowledge, but do deities like ShriKrishna exist at end of Kaliyuga? NO.
Therefore god has to take a normal human being's body to deliver the knowledge.
And thats precisely why in gita it is said that "only a few in millions" really understand when god descends.
if we try to inculcate even 5% of what has been said in the bhagwad gita then there would be unparalled peace and serenity in our lives...but it aint an easy road..
When people ask lord, why aren't you coming in this age of kali, where your presence is needed the most, Lord said in Kali yuga i am present in the form of Gita and srimad Bagavatam. So plz do seek him where you can find him. Of couse he is inside and also outside. So seek first and then worry about the world.

I try my best to follow the guidelines preached By Lord Krishna Himself. But I get distracted sometimes and again I come into being. This has occurred to me several times but I listen to Gita again and I come back in track. What I have realized so far is that your mind is everything and in this yuga, Bhagwad Gita is the potential source to live into. The evil force Kali is our own mind. Control it by controlling your senses first. It's easily said than done. But If you try, you will see the results.

In other religions quotes where found which are similar to "Bhagwad Gita" which where copied and now they where preached for conversion of people from Hindus to other religions... Priya bhaiyo kya apne kabhi socha hain ki God kis prakar sab sthan par vyapt hain. Maine kuchh pustako ka addhyan kiya hain aur maine paya hain ki aakash (sky) ko hi ishwar mana gaya hain aakash ki koi seema nahi hoti vaha anant hain . aaakash ke hi andar all planet, stars .humans,plants,animals, all insect kahne ka matlab sari srashti duniya ki saari sajeev evam nirjeev(animate & inanimate) vastuye aakash ke hi andar vyapt hain. Is prakar hum kaha sakte hain ki akaash(god) sab vastuo me vyapt hain

ab is sanshar ke andar manushaya(human) se sunder evam intelligent jeev dusara koi nahi hain isliye ishwar ki moorti bhi manushaya ki aakrati jaisi banai gayi hain bas unka swaroop divya hain jaise bahut saare hath ya mukh etc taki ve sadharan manushay ki tarah dekhne me na lage isiliye vishnuji mata durga gayatri mata lakshmiji ki murthi ka swaroop divya hain aur unki ishwar ke prateek ke roop me pooja ki jati hain .
Or ye jo ishwar ke hath me shasatra(hatiyar) evam phool aashriwad ityadi darshaye gaye hain ye is baat ka prateek hain ki ishwar boore kaam karne walo ko saja deta hain or achchhe kaam karne walo par kripa karta hain.
Or ek baat ye jo hamare poorvaj the as Shiv, Ram. Krishna Hanuman, Ganesha Saibaba Gotam Buddha Guru Nanak jesus Christ,mohammad sahab etc ye yogi, mahapurush the ye swayam ishwar ki upasana karte the ishwar to ek hain or wo bhi anant,nirakaar , ajanma.
